The mystery of God has been revealed.

October 1, 2023

This is the day the Lord has granted to us. May we rejoice in it. May we be open to His fellowship and care. We do well to use the keys to His fullness. May we speak in Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. In Ephesians 5:19 the Apostle Paul tells us to speak one to another. We must openly communicate one with another. Paul knew he did not possess mind reading skills. He wanted his readers to express themselves.God’s people do possess the heart of our Great God and Savior. Speaking leads further to singing and making melody in our heart to the Lord. Gratitude will fill us. Our relation to His Spirit and His Son will be enlarged. Paul in verse 21states we are to be one to another. His words open the riches of grace and truth to our soul as we submitt one to another in the fear of the Lord. Fear not when we have His fullness. What keeps you back?

Think on these words from David Powlison:

“Our fallen experience need not control us. All of the words God uses to describe himself—King, Shepherd, Master, Savior, and God—have disappointing human parallels. In each of these examples, it does not make sense to say that life experience dictates a person’s reality. On the contrary, the very experience of disappointing and distorted images can make you long to know the real King, Shepherd, Master, Savior, and God! You might say, “My pastor never taught me about God. How I rejoice that Hebrews 13:20–21 is true, that the great Shepherd of the sheep shed his blood for me and teaches me to do his will.” “My boss is manipulative and deceptive. How I rejoice that Ephesians 6:5–8 is becoming true in me and I can serve Christ with integrity instead of being bitter or fearful!” “The God I grew up hearing about seemed like a remote killjoy. Praise the real God that Psalm 36 is true, and he is an immediate refuge and a fountain of love, light, and joy!” Clearly, our fallen experience need not control us.” David Powlison

Hebrew 13:20 “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

My prayers are with you. May the Lord bless and keep you. Pray for us as we journey on a study of the Greatness of God’s Kingdom during Bible Hour at 9:45 AM. And at 11 AM we are looking at the Lord and his church as it reflects on men and women.

He is coming again. Prepare for Him.

May this find you with Jesus bringing praises and rejoicing to you. We are excited and expecting great things from the Lord. We are on a summer schedule – we meet at 10:30. There a few additions ‘Spot Light’ and “Study – Psalm 119:1-8” along with singing and praise. We have seen folks return and new faces. The folks are praying that the pews will be filled. This is exiting to see God moving. May He be praised. You would be welcome. A blessing awaits you.

These are the days the Lord has given us. May you rejoice in them. My prayer is that the Lord would bless you. Trusting to see you soon.

Our on going series on Ephesians is encouraging, enlightening, and enabling. His church is a cohesive needed in our lives today. Believers in Jesus Christ are being bonded one with another. Recent events have shattered our ability to bond. Bonding is needed for healing and support. The grace and truth is make plain in Jesus who has the fullness of both.

His love and truth brings hope and help in desperate times. We must live by faith and faith alone. Our habit is to live by emotions and a soul that accepts error as truth. Paul prays for out eyes to be enlighten. His plan is to bring into His promises, love and provision. He shows a clarified way in Ephesians. You are welcome to join in.
