The meaningful measure of the church is based upon “speaking the truth in love.” Ministry in the church is through His love. God the Father gave His son so we would know: “And this life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3 We serve God to perfect the saints. This is accomplished through worship, evangelism, discipleship and ministry. God is where we begin. The work is by faith. The labor is our part.. It is God who gives the increase. He alone is to be glorified. We serve a great God. May He be glorified. May we envision the Lord as “high and lifted up.”
